Lewis Carroll: «Alice Liddell as a beggar-maid»

Alice Pleasance Liddell (1852-1934) inspired the children's classic Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll, when she asked him to tell her a story on a boating trip in Oxford.
